Tinton Falls, NJ – Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., 10th Bishop of Trenton, celebrated an Advent Mass on Tuesday, December 20, at the campus of Trinity Hall, an independent, all-girls college preparatory high school in the Catholic tradition that opened in Fall 2013. This marks the first visit from Bishop O’Connell in the school’s history. Trinity Hall operates as a faith-based independent school governed by a board of trustees rather than a diocesan school. LITTLE SILVER, NJ – Every year, the RBR student body takes a break from lunch and study to create homemade cards for children who will be spending their holidays in hospitals. This national initiative was adapted by RBR teacher Jennifer Casaine over four years ago. She is assisted by RBR Teacher Cassandra Dorn. The national Cards for Hospitalized Kids program began five years ago and has sent cards to over 100,000 hospitalized children throughout the United States. HIGHLANDS, NJ – In addition to academics, students at Highlands Elementary School have been busy participating in a variety of new school wide activities, both during and after school. Many students are excited about the school’s production of Peter Pan, sponsored by the Highlands PTO. Since October, students have been rehearsing lines and learning new dances in preparation for January’s performance. In addition to performing in Peter Pan students have also been learning songs and dances from past decades for the Highlands 85th Anniversary Ceremony which will take place on December 7, 2016.
